summer in thredbo - days 1 & 2

coming in to Kosciusko national park

ski run view from our one bedroom loft

thredbo village so quiet . . . that would soon change

on the Kosciusko express chairlift

magnificent alpine views

on the trek to view the peak of Mt Kosciusko

a stunning, almost moon-like landscape

we walked right past a brown snake on this path - it stopped and hissed - we ran! stupid tourists stopped to take a couple of snaps and didn't budge - no matter how many times I gesticulated madly and yelled 'DANGER, Will Robinson!'

thar she blows! the highest point in Australia - Mt Kosciukso (2228m or 7310ft)

at Australia's highest altitude cafe

our Lantern apartments, large block top right

leisure centre - kids on Mission Inflatable
