Event: Queanbeyan Library Book Buzz Club Reading

It was so much fun to read to the fabulous kids from Queanbeyan Library's Book Buzz Club. The kids gather on the last day of every month to hear a story, do a craft, then choose a book and borrow it to take home and review.

The librarians offer the kids a star rating system to review the books, then compile a list of top nominations for best book.

What a wonderful way to get kids involved in reading!

After reading Riley and the Sleeping Dragon to the kids, we then did some Chinese paper cutting and of course - folded red paper aeroplanes. You can see recipes for great paper planes here.
