We've been getting some lovely misty mornings in Canberra recently. It's a funny thing about mist - it makes everything look beautiful (a bit like vaseline on the camera lens).
This morning reminded me of our weekend in Hangzhou, which is reputedly China's most beautiful city - and is oft shrouded in a mist so thick, you need a guide dog.
How can mist look so stunning when it shrouds detail? Is it because it hides any ugly, or is it because the shroud is just a beautiful mystery in itself?
