When someone gives me a bunch of mixed flowers, I like to cut them down. In a good way. I think they are lovely as-is but they look even better trimmed down into skerricky posies, and slid into teensy bottles or jars, arranged across a countertop or window sill.
You can also do it with same-same flowers, as seen here on my kitchen window sill. So pretty.
And these flowers are FOR someone...
