This morning we were all feeling a tad exhausted. We had a major sleep in then took it easy. After a leisurely breakfast, we took the long way round, walking along the lakefront into town.
Once on the town shorefront, the kids played in the children’s playground and we had coffee at the Bathhouse café and restaurant. What a gorgeous old building, beautifully renovated to take full advantage of the perfect waterfront location. It was originally built in 1911 to celebrate the coronation of King George V and has quite a history of building and rebuilding behind it. Amazing views.
After lots of sunshine and fresh air, we went for a delicious glass of rosé and a game of cards with the kids at a beautiful modern pub – Pub on Wharf – right on the harbour. Another divine night's sleep.
