Warm thanks to Christine, Ingrid and Cathy for hosting a reading and book signing at Readings Carlton last Friday. One of my fave stores in the world, it was so lovely to snuggle into the kids' section (despite the pouring rain!) and read Riley and the Grumpy Wombat.
My friend and publisher Paul Collins of Ford Street Publishing came along, too, and Readings kindly gathered both our latest books and had us sign them for their front window.
It was also really special for my friend - author Adam 'Wally' Wallace - to turn up to say hi. He took these lovely photos and also later joined Paul and I for coffee and an industry chat at Brunetti. Readings, coffee at Brunetti, talking books - what more could a girl need?
