canberra kids love to read at Tuggernong Library

Libraries ACT are running an amazing initiative in support of the National Year of Reading. It's called Canberra Kids Love 2 Read, and I had a great time helping this fantastic and dedicated team source brand new books to hand out to the children taking part in this programme.
Over the next few months, year one kids from all over Canberra are being bussed by Action Buses to their local library for a very special reading session - and each child will receive a goodie bag filled with a brand new book, bookmarks, stickers and other items to encourage a love of reading.
These kids from Isabella Plains PS were just gorgeous. They were given goodie bags with copies of my book - Riley and the Curious Koala - inside, and they were even wearing Love2Read colours!
Gotta love this wonderful initiative.
