I am absolutely thrilled to host a series of book reviews from year 4 students at Burgmann Anglican School here in Canberra. The reviews are being posted over at Kids Book Review all day long, on the hour - and I am so impressed at the calibre of these reviews . . . and the passion and nous with which the children have written them.
During this, the National Year of Reading, one of my greatest personal thrills is to see children both read and appreciate books. Congratulations to teacher Sue for kick starting this wonderful initiative. It's so so very important. I hope these reviews make your heart sing as much as they do mine.
