I have had the loveliest day.
Despite a rip-roaring wind, Jennie McClelland and I had the most sunshiny, glorious three hours at the Brindabella Business Park market. Such a gorgeous atmosphere, fabulous people - and wonderful to catch up with the lovely Stacey from Cheeky Textiles and meet Rachelle from Orange Whisk {both whom very kindly bought Beijing Tai Tai!}.
I was very tempted by Rachelle's goodies, and snaffled these treasures to nibble on with the kids when they get home from school . . .
I also succumbed to this sensational pack of florentines from Divine and Delicious. OMG. Their moniker says it all.
I also could not go home without these stunning party bags . . .
. . . I'll probably just put these on my desk so I can look at them and feel wonderful from the looking. And, of course, who can resist this throwback to the 70s with these priceless swap cards. Memories.
Jennie also surprised me with this alpine cork board, complete with pine tree pins. It makes me want to yodel, I love it so much. Jennie knows me SO well, she must have channeled my recent griping over the lack of un-boarded cork boards available - and I have been secretly coveting these little mountains for EVER. I adore this, thank you, my friend.
When I got home after this superlative market, run by the wonderful Melissa, who is truly a joy to deal with, I saw these blossoms in my driveway and they were so stunning, they made me stop awhile.
Then it was unpacking the car and tearing open parcels on the doorstep. And inside I found some new books in the mail from Hardie Grant Egmont. Always a lovely thing.
I hope you had a sunshiny, happy day with even the tiniest little treat. My next treat will be a cuddle with the kids when they get home from school - the best treat of all.
