Today I am wrapping up a sensational writing comp prize, in alignment with the lovely Rebecca Newman from Soup Blog and also Kids' Book Review! Kids from all over Australia sent in entries for a short story competition (300 words) on being an Aussie kid. Children had to choose a month of the year and write about what they would do during that month.
The entries were brilliant! and we have announced a winner and also a runner-up on Kids' Book Review this morning. Check it out!
Soup Blog have also reviewed An Aussie Year--well, actually, the lovely Matilda (aged just 7!) has reviewed it, and it's delightful! Read it here.
