I'm SO loving funkytime - a stunning electronic mag (and digital playground) with truly gorgeous ideas and free printables. German girl Sibylle, a graphic designer/stylist/lover of food, photography and all things pretty and vintage, is one super talented gal.
It's love.

I'm loving... sweet estelle on etsy
Thursday, 5 January 2012
Don't you just love it when you find a treasure of an etsy store? I mean, there are lots, but I love it when you find one that's super special.
Sooo loving Sweet Estelle right now. Did a mega order just before Christmas, and came home from Thredbo to a sweet-as-pie parcel waiting for me . . . SO much fun to open this box of delicious treasure.
Can't even tell you how desperate I am for next Christmas, with these adorable cupcake picks - those deer and trees have evaded me for years and now I have them in my clutches, ho ho!
How much fun am I going to have with these spotted and striped straws this summer? And this bumble bee and hive is something I've also coveted for a heck of a long time, since seeing Donna Hay create some pretty stunning bumbly-bee delights once. It's baking time!

i'm loving... alphabet street

I'm loving all the incredible hard work Penny Price is putting in to Alphabet Street. When my kids were really little (and even now they're not so little), I would have gnawed through apron strings to access a website like this.
Originally pegging Newcastle and surrounds, Penny is now opening an Alphabet Street for almost every major Australian city, packing pages with all manner of priceless info...
Newcastle
Sydney (coming soon)
Melbourne
Brisbane (coming soon)
Perth (coming soon)
Adelaide (coming soon)
There's events, activities, school holiday info, things to see and do, family friendly ideas and info for mums. Brilliant. And you can also follow updated info daily on Facebook... Join in the fun!

I'm loving... new goodies and treats with a french twist
Wednesday, 27 October 2010
Then a gorgeous pressie from the lovely Posie - a tin drumming panda that rolls around as he batters his drum! Sure, this may not be particuarly French, but the whimsical nature of it is, and Posie knows exactly what I love. Such a sweet little gift when I picked up my Riley badges for my book launch.
You see, Posie makes these amazing badges and she's done special Riley ones for the launch goodie bags. Some lucky kids are going to pocket these on 21 November!
The other thing Posie (real name Jennie) has been up to is launching yet another label in her Posie conglomerate of gorgeousness. It's called Metric and it's tough and very beautiful clothing for boys and tom boys.
Jennie uses only the finest fabrics including this amazing cotton linen... and she has used some too-too-cute French fabrics in this line. You must see it - it's love love love.
Lisa is one of these amazing, talented, dynamic women who does things with such finesse and professionalism - I have no doubt her beautiful new label will go very far.
I mean - just look at her stunning packaging and amazing toy Citröen card... c'est l'amour! Then there's the book - just totally delectable... from a real talent. You must see it. Even panda was so happy, he did a little drumming dance.

Look Who's Following Me on Twitter!

Does this make me political royalty? I'm having a Martha Stewart is following me, totally delusional flashback. Now I'm twittering with the PM.

I'm Loving... Stationary Swap
Friday, 13 August 2010
Over at Paperklip Design (which is worth meandering around for hours), you'll find this wonderful idea for a stationery swap.
I'm onto it.
Who will receive this lovely package in the mail soon? (yes - the REAL mail - the old-fashioned way - I KNOW!). From left to right we have bear notecard and envelope by Sukie --- hand-stamped rice paper from Lulichang Antiques Street, Beijing --- yellow flower tag from Ruby Victoria Letterpress --- apple fabric postcard from Here We Go Loopy Lou --- floral notepaper and envelope from a supermarket in Beijing --- green striped Kikki.K alphabet notepaper and envelope.
Why don't you create a stationery swap? Just send someone a small selection. They then need to send something back to you - and something onto someone else. What a delectable, papery idea.

I'm Loving... Thoughtful Things
Saturday, 7 August 2010
Look at this magnificent gift I received this week from Jennie of Posie fame - all the way from the streets of Venice - sigh. It's a gorgeous stamp with the initial T on it - such a beautiful and simple gift but one that will be so treasured.
I also had the most gorgeous gift in the mail from my friend Mary Rose - take a look at these stunning tea sachets - have you ever seen anything like them? Encased in a paper pyramid with a little green leaf poking out the top, I've had them decorating my desk space for a week or two and think it's about time I actually stopped staring at them and put them into a cup for a good soak. I can't wait to enjoy the Orchid Vanilla, Black Currant and African Solstice.
Aren't these small things in life so precious? I've been feeling exhausted, emotional and been suffering chronic back pain since the completion of handmade living (not to mention more than my fair share of drama and people-niggles), and it's these teensy, thoughtful things - along with that odd text, that sweet email, that little cuddle - that make things so much better.
Here's to the tiny things in life.
