Mrs Koala’s Beauty Parlour is hitting the shelves tomorrow! Before she arrives, here is a peek at the creation of her scene outside the beauty parlour.

See Mrs Koala come to life outside her beauty parlour in this animation made from my Procreate illustrations. Learn more about this adorable counting book right here.

Join me tomorrow for a countdown special to celebrate this gorgeous counting book! I wonder if you’ll be able to tell which animals are featured for each number, 1 to 10.

COVER REVEAL! Mrs Koala's Beauty Parlour

It's with much joy, and a fresh manicure and blow-dry (maybe an eyelash tint), that I reveal the cover to Mrs Koala's Beauty Parlour, delightfully penned by Catherine Jinks and illustrated by these freshly-manicured paws.

Published by Working Title Press (imprint of HarperCollins Australia), Mrs Koala opens her doors on 2 February 2022 - make your booking for a pre-order right here, or buy instore or online in the coming weeks.

Stay tuned for a book giveaway on my Instagram page and I'll also be revealing some illustrations from the book, including behind-the-scenes illustration process in the coming weeks.

Cath and I hope you love Mrs Koala's busy day and all the animals who come along for a trim, a shearing, a facial and even a perm! I wonder if you can guess which animals end up permed ...

Beautiful cover by Shirley of HarperCollins Design Studio.

BLURB

Preschoolers will love counting how many clients Mrs Koala has in her very busy beauty parlour.

Mrs Koala runs the most popular beauty parlour in town, but she's so busy with her clients, she doesn't even know how many she has!

From talented duo Catherine Jinks and Tania McCartney comes a delightful book that takes us on a fun-filled journey as we count down to the end of a crazy day in Mrs Koala's beauty parlour.

Happy Christmas 2021

A long and arduous year comes to an end and simplicity and a return-to-real-life has never been more important (and in poll position on my wish list).
