Bloom

It's COLD here in Canberra today. The day started with a blanket of fog and I am wrapped up warm inside, peering dolefully at the garden, planning upgrades and lots and lots of weeding.

I think we're in for a trip to the gardening centre this weekend. Bulbs are beginning to pop up through the soil and I still haven't pruned back the iceberg roses.

Can't wait until it's warm enough to spend hours in the garden again. In the meantime, I'll just stare at this picture of a magnificent Dahlia I photographed at the Canberra Show back in February.

Sigh.
