HURRY! Vote now in the ADORABLE Babies in Beanies photo comp.
Oh Kate and Leonie - how on earth do we choose which baby to vote for? All utterly ADORABLE!
I was just thrilled to be asked to be a finals judge for the Babies in Beanies photo competition being held in Canberra by a talented duo - Leonie Keogh of Snowgum Studio and Kate Dawson of Misschief Maker. The competition brings together all the best things about being a Canberra kid in winter - childhood memories of colourful beanies, the simple joy of a handmade jumper, steaming mugs of hot chocolate and football fields turned white by frost.
Children’s wear retailer, Kate, and award-winning photographer, Leonie, created the Babies in Beanies competition to raise funds for a new mobile humidicrib for Canberra Hospital.
The comp is open to all children aged 0-5 years and photos will be taken by Leonie at MissChief Maker in Rodney’s Nursery, Pialligo. Mums can choose from two great scenes for their children’s photograph, each celebrating a unique aspect of Canberra winters.
Sessions are 10 minutes long and are running at:
- MissChief Maker on Sunday 9th, 16th and 23rd of August between 11:30am and 2pm
- Snowgum Studios at Leonie’s beautiful farm in Royalla on Wednesday 12th, 19th and 26th of August
Photos will be posted on www.misschiefmaker.com.au and www.snowgumstudiophotography.blogspot.com for voting, so get there now and support this inspirational initiative.
First prize is a portrait session and prints to the value of $600 from Snowgum Studio, plus a $100 wardrobe from MissChief Maker.
Entrants will be able to purchase prints from their session at a substantially reduced rate and 10% of the proceeds will also go to the Foundation. Head to the following websites for more information.
See you at the voting polls - too cute to miss out! and yes, you can vote from overseas!
